Water It Right was created to help the customers of Waters Contracting.  As a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, Paul Waters tried to explain to customers how to water their new landscape.  After several attempts at using past year E.T. date to create schedules and trying to teach customers how to schedule and set their controller, one of his customers asked to him “Can’t you just email me a schedule?” The idea was created in 2000.  He spent that winter developing the idea.  Mid-summer of 2001 the site went live and started collecting E.T. data. The first year of operation, 2002, several users successfully used the data to set their controllers.  During the winter of 2002-2003, major updates were made to make the site more useful.

 

Water It Right is part of Waters Enterprises, owned by Paul Waters.  It is located in Layton, Utah.

 

Paul Waters has been in the green industry since 1985.  He started mowing lawns for local homeowners and small businesses.  He began repairing sprinkler systems to help his customers’ lawns look better.  To better serve his customers, Paul has become a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, Certified Irrigation Contractor, and Certified Irrigation Designer: Residential/Commercial.
